Have you ever had a terrific idea that just stuck in your head? Well, that’s how SlapStick Studios idea was born.

Everybody thinks they know what “Velcro® ” is, right? Makes a funny sound. And it fastens things together. Very cool. But that isn’t the name of the stuff that fastens shoes, pockets and lots of other stuff together – that’s hook and loop fasteners. VELCRO® is the name of our trademark and is also the name of our company.

So we put our heads together… who better to help tell our story than the folks at Disney? Once you get Disney Imagineers and Velcro Innovation folks together, you can’t pull us apart. We thought it would be more fun to “experience” some of the awesome VELCRO® brand products than to just see them, so we created SlapStick Studios and built it at INNOVENTIONS at Epcot® at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Our big feature is “What’s Your Problem?” It’s an interactive game show that stars Hook and Loopy and you! There’s lots of fun, cheering, photo ops. But most of all, guests have an opportunity to solve various problems using lots of creative VELCRO® brand hook and loop fasteners.

In addition to us, Hook and Loopy, there’s the gigantic “Wheel of Seemingly Insurmountable Problems.” Just spin the wheel to play games like “Bringing Up Babies,” “Family Ties Relay Race,” “How Do You Stack Up,” and “Pack It On.” You have to race against the fiendish “Countdown Clock”, too! In other words, get ready for lights, camera and fun.

We bring the neat hook and loop stuff. You just have to bring your problem-solving abilities.
